If you’ve written a real estate-related book published during 2017, consider entering it in the Bruss Book Award Competition offered by the National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE). Books on building green houses, exploring the components of 24-hour cities, buying and selling real estate and iconic office buildings have won in recent years.
Books focusing on the broad field of real estate including the business of real estate, investing, architecture, government housing policy, and real estate finance are also expected among the diverse topics in this year’s competition.
The entry deadline is April 15th. To download an entry form, visit the "book Contest" tab on this website: www.naree.org
The Bruss Book Awards are named for the late Bob Bruss, a syndicated real estate columnist and book reviewer. The annual awards program was created to recognize excellence in the work of real estate book authors.
The competition is underwritten by NAREE’s 2011 president, the late Leigh Robinson, author/publisher and his late wife, Ivy Robinson, who were instrumental in founding the program more than a decade ago. NAREE’s 1992 president Brad Inman, founder of Inman News and Vook, has continued to generously underwrite the competition since its inception as well.
The Gold winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize; Silver winner will receive $500; and Bronze winner will receive $250 as does the “Best New Author." All winners also may receive digital award seals for their book covers. For more information contact; email@example.com.
