The National Association of Real Estate Editors has elected Holden Lewis of BankRate.com as its president for the 08-09 year. Lauren Beale of the Los Angeles Times is the new vice president. 07-08 president Ken Harney of the Washington Post Writers Group is now chairman of NAREE's Board of Directors. Elizabeth Rhodes of the Seattle Times is the new board secretary and the new treasurer is Jean Dimeo of Building Products magazine.

Stephen Gandel of Money magazine and Andrea Jares of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram were elected active directors. Associate member Donna Reichle of the National Association of Home Builders was elected second vice president and David Bradley of Bank of America was elected associate director.
